is a 17th century colonial estate located in the historical center of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. José Mojica, a famous Mexican actor and opera singer lived in this house during the church/state crisis of the 1920's. In those days of persecution, communion was served through a small window in the entry hall of the main house in order to protect the occupants.
Designer Liza Kisber purchased this property in the late eighties with the vision of turning it into the most distinctive guest house in San Miguel. Her dream has become a reality. Casa de Liza is
much more than just a bed and breakfast.
