has the most lushly green location imaginable. It overlooks the ancient park-like grounds of the spring, "El
Chorro", the natural spring around which San Miguel was founded. One very short block farther rise the trees of Parque Juarez, the large, luxurious 'alameda', a park in the style of an earlier era. For the art or language student, the Instituto
Allende and Bellas Artes are also only short blocks away. The main square, referred to as "The
Jardin", and the center of town filled with its ancient buildings, museums, galleries and
artesania, is less than five minutes walk over the charming cobble
stoned streets of yesteryear.
There is no fixed hour for breakfast at Casa Liza. It is served when and where you desire...on the main patio, or your patio or even in bed and is a truly gourmet meal. In the late afternoon guests often relax around the
Jacuzzi where they may be served hors d'oeuvres and drinks upon
request. Liza and her bilingüal staff provide as much or as little interaction with their guests as the individual guest desires. The most frequent comment made by guests is that they feel
as if they have spent time at a friend's private estate.
We accept
well-behaved children of any age and can provide sitters. Children ages 5 to 12
are charged at half the extra guest rate.
