Carlotta's Villa, one enters through doors, carved with wonderful large hand carved lizards, into a charming patio. The patio furniture is upholstered with antique African fabric and the entire patio has paintings, a bronze sculpture by Castillo from chili and beautiful vines and flowers. This patio is also remarkable for its retractable glass roof allowing one to entertain no matter what the temperature is.
The interior is furnished with many antiques, fine museum quality paintings from all over the world and antique oriental rugs. The bed is king size but can also be two singles and the fireplace grouping is wonderful for entertaining. The bathroom is large with two sinks and a boveda (arched roof) with skylight. The kitchen also has a boveda ceiling and skylight, is quite large, and is furnished with antique table and chairs and wonderful art.
The price for the casita is $250 per night, for two people, plus tax. $30 extra for each additional person.
